Question Trying to make dynomouth...

I have the slp loudmouth catback right now. I am going to pacesetter LT's w/ O/R Y-pipe, and know that it'll be way too raspy with the LM resonater in place. Which race bullet do I use? I have seen people recommend dynomax #24222 & #24219. They say 24222 if u have cats, and 24219 if you are running no cats. I WILL BE RUNNING NO CATS, does anyone know off hand?

Thanks Guys

I would replace the resonator with a 3" in/out Bullet in the I-pipe. Use whatever will fit; the 12" or 16".

Question

I am aware of using the 3" Center In/Out muffler, but one is longer then the other. The 24222 is like 16 1/2" total inches in length and the 24219 is like 23 1/2" total inches.

Since you are catless, you would wnt the longer one for a little more rasp control. Guys who have done the dynomouth style exhaust with catted y's usually get the shorter bulllet, like myself.

Without cats, it's gonna be hard to make a Loudmouth sound good. It will still be loud even with the longest bullet style muffler you can fit on there. I solved the problem with a Borla oval muffler, but I had to cut and weld the floorpan to make it fit where the resonator was on the LM system. You could put one back where the stock muffler was, but you will be trashing most of the LM to do it. You could install a catted Y pipe, or sell the LM and get a Borla catback.
