I will have my intake off next week on my 2002 Trans Am LS1, while I have the intake off are there any mods I should be performing? I remember reading an article about updating the cradle to the LS6 to stop oil consumption but can seem to find the article, are there any other mods/improvements to be performed?

sounds like he's going for the LS6 valley cover? If you're going for the LS6 intake too, "DONT" block off the rear coolant ports like GM does with their blockoffs, get another link like in the front and turn it backwards and have the line from that "T" into the front near the radiator.
