msd coils on procharged ls1 vette? = missfire...

Unhappy msd coils on procharged ls1 vette? = missfire...

hi,
hope of some helpful information.
i have ati procharged c5 vette(1999), 9,3 compression ratio, 3,60 procharger pulley, diamond pistons, eagle rods & crankshaft, comp cam..........
i have change last year the stock coils with msd coils and wires.
the car is running sometimes unclear and the engine makes misfires.
i hurt that some guys have similar problems like mine, with the msd coils.
what is the best choice of coils for forced induction?
some guys drive with truck coils...
can somebody give me the right info., what to use and mabe a part number and where to buy it?

MSD's are expensive crap. Stock coils or truck coils

what are your plugs gapped at? they could be blowing out

have somebody a # number of the truck coils, they work with a ls1(1999)-vette engine?

know somebody, if this coils will work with a procharged c5(2000).
GM TRUCK COIL #12558693
BRACKET #12569188

i have ignition problems with my msd coils.

go with the truck coils, as they are better. unless you still have your stockers, there is nothing worng with them and will work just fine.

MSDs are WAY overpriced and any coil packs other than the LS1 style are by far good enough for any application...Truck coils are the best IMO...the D585 coil packs are the ones you're looking for....
