some good pics of my true duals with dynomax ultraflo mufflers
Couple of things...
First, I took most of the pictures with the camera on the floor to make the exhaust parts as visible as possible, but it the result was that it cause the mufflers and pipes to look closer to the ground than acutal. The lowest part of the exhaust is the mufflers, obviously, and there is only one particular place where they like to hit the ground. That one place happens to be a speed bump on my street, and the mufflers hit if I go over too fast. If you want to have real mufflers in front of the axle, you're going to lose some ground clearance, there just doesn't seem to be any way around it. There was lots more ground clearance when I had bullets, but the noise was absolutely unbearable after a few weeks of it.
looks like a fast food lid found its why in a couple of the pics.
In this view, the picture was taken slightly to the left, making the exhaust look off center. The reason for this was because the shop light was to my right to light up the car underneath. I'm just glad the axle isn't rusty.
Here's the crossover. It's a dr. gas special, along with the bends. The rest of the parts were along with all the welding were done by me and fellow LS1tech member MyLS1Hauls.

more added info...
The headers are TR LTs. really nice headers. I'd buy em again.
And if you've got a really good eye, you can see our gixxers in the background on a couple of the pics.

Hey, thanks man.
I can't get your email address by clicking on your profile for some reason. Send me a PM or email me with your address and then I'll send you the file.

Ok, got it sent. I don't know how it turned out, it's an old microphone. My speakers suck, so I can't listen to it to tell if it's any good or not.

I tried filtering the distortion to no avail. Could not get a clear sound. Sounds like you're idling at least at 1000rpm, or is that the effect of the dual pulses? Wow. Other than that, the file's a mess.

You are correct, it was idling at nearly 1000 RPM. The idle is raised up to around 900 and it was idling extra fast because the engine was cold. sorry that file sucked, it's a crappy microphone.
