Default pacesetter headers painted or coated

What is the purpose for the ceramic coating vs. just being pantied other than cost?

The coating is well worth the money. You might also consider the TSP 1 7/8" headers. They're priced pretty similar to the Pacesetter stuff & make really good hp especially with extra mods down the road.

Helps prevent rust and helps keep exhaust temp's down under the hood as well as looking 100x better than the painted ones after 5 mintutes of run time.
