Default Mac exhaust any good?

Was trying to get a hooker cat-back exhaust for my 98 camaro but everyone is sold out... thinking about getting the mac cat-back to go along with my mac y-pipe... Has any one heard it? does it have a deep sound to it?

I dont have a MAC cat back but i do have there mid length headers and catted y-pipe, it all fits well. The Y does not hit the floorboards at all and its seems to be of deacent quality. I had mine ceramic and powder coated, and they still look brand new. I am overall happy with it especially for what i payed for it.

A friend of mine had the Mac catback on his LT1. Sounded great but any catback sounds good on the LT1. It got rusty as **** in a few years and he literally had to get the muffler replaced cause it was falling apart.

I had the entire MAC setup headers back. I liked it. Was on the car when I bought it. Loud but not too loud and comfortable at cruising speeds. I put a Loudmouth on it and the thing screams now. Almost uncomfortable going 70 even with a 6 speed. Nice exhaust IMHO, especially for the price. Still have mine laying in the garage if you haven't picked one up yet.
