Default Stripped Header bolts.

Heard exhaust leak from pass. side jet hot lt headers. So I went ahead and tried to tightened the header flanged bolts and thought it was loose, next thing you know the bolt just keeps on going, going, and going. anybody ever stripped the threads holes on heads for headers? is it possible to retap thread without taking heads and headers off? Thanks in advanced.

You'll need to drill it out larger and insert a threaded coil (helicoil) to allow use of the standard bolt!
