Default anyone work with TPIS oval LS6 manifold and TB?

I just was doing a little reading and heard about TPIS modifying your LS6 intake by cutting the snout off and putting an oval inlet snout back on the manifold along with an oval throttle body. They claim it will out perform a fast 90 until 6000rpm. Seems pretty sweet to me but is this being compared to a non-ported fast? Just trying to get my facts straight here. I would rather stay with the sleeper look under the hood and just say its an ls6 manifold!D I hope to hear some good things back on this one...

wow. nobody has heard of this before? I guess the only reason I heard about it was because predator mentioned it in a thread. I am just trying to find out if anyone has tried this approach before I pay $850 to have the work done and get a new tb.

Way back in the day before the Fast 90 combos I had one of these on my c5 vette. The setup was pretty nice, not sure how it compared power wise though... Sorry

Would you have happened to do any before and after dyno testing with it? Not necessarilly compared to the fast but compared to having the stock ls6 on the car.

I was always curious about this, I have seen this LS6 Modifed as they call it on there website. Neat Idea, I dont know hom much it would help considering the new FAST 102mm Intake is out. More air is the theory, and the FAST just preforms better. Dinousor Technology.

I know its old technology but I have a sore spot with comp over a fast that I used to have. Thing cracked after 3-4 months of occasional use. (No I did not try to mount without replacing the valley cover bolts). The crack went lengthwise. Comp basically told me to take a flying leap. So I am pursuing other options....

The FAST 102 is not for cathedral port heads...... It is for L92/LS3 heads and there is also a version now for the LS7. Scroll down in this thread and it explains the differences.

I have the TPIS 90mm Oval set-up been using it for 2 years now if you do a search there is a post or 2 with pictures of my set-up and some one else that recently got one too.
I know some one else on here that went with the set-up about a month ago for his GTO, he is also happy with his..
