Default ? What is this radiator sensor ?

Im putting a Griffin radiator in my 99 transam, I noticed the stock one has a square sensor on it....passenger side towards the top. What is this this thing?

Coolant level sensor.

If there's no provision for it on the new rad (and you keep an eye on the coolant level) I believe you can just tie the two wires together to close the circuit and not get the "coolant low" light on the dash.

You don't need to do anything to the wires, just unplugging it keeps the light off - zip tie it out of the way.
