Question 1 3/4 vs 1 7/8 for my application?

Going to be installing afr 205's, fast 92/92 and 224/228 cam,
What kind of gain could I see switching out the 1 3/4 for 1 7/8 headers. I figured since the headers will be unhooked anyway, maybe switch to larger header and this will be thru a catted y.
thanks
and before I get flamed, I tried the search button

honestly, it will be such a small difference. It doesn't really matter.

That's not a big cam, and I'm guessing you're still running stock cubic inches and near stock compression? You should be fine with keeping the 1 3/4" primary headers, I would recommend getting an offroad Y though, and a good flowing catback like Borla, Corsa, or Magnaflow if you like quiet.

1 3/4 unless you go bigger than stock cubic inches.(383 and up) You would see bigger gains with a bigger cam than 1 7/8 over 1 3/4 headers.

agree with the rest, but here is no reason not to run a catted y if you want. it should help with rasp and wont hurt power much.

well if you have any plans of going faster- adding more go fast parts I would get the 1 7/8's. You may lose a bit down low but you will see a tad bit more up top.

If I had to do it over again I would get the ARH 1 7/8 for sure.
