Default underdrive pulley?

alright im thinking of buying one of these two:
1. ASP underdrive pulley system for 98-02 LS1 F-body
or
2. SLP Harmonic Balancer/Underdrive Pulley, 98-02 LS1 Camaro/Firebird

which is better and what do you guys use? gains? pros and cons?
thanks,
billy

Which one will work the best with a double roller timing chain? I hear that some people have clearance issues.

i have the ASP for 6yrs....threw the belt one time.

gains are pretty subjective.

you'd have to be really tuned in at the track to see a gain, since the best you can hope for is about 5hp.

usually people notice the faster rev-up after the swap.

If you do a search on this board I think tsp and a few others said they gained 8hp...pretty good for what it is.

I've been running the March kit since summer 07. So far no problems. For a manual car its a no brainer. The idle is higher so at idle + underdrive, accessories are running the same speed as they would in an auto while in gear.

Look at it this way, with your accessories running slower during the higher rpm runs, you put less of a beating on them.
