Default Vid of my 2000TA w/ LM1 exhaust

User on here was wondering about getting a y-pipe so i went and shot a vid of my car at idle and revving a bit. I have never really heard it from outside the car before. Revved it to between 4K-5K and have to say i liked it. Let me know what you guys think about it. Just be gentle because my car is LIGHTLY modded

Oh yeah, i'm definitely doing the ceta mod. Looks great on pewter. As far as my cam, you'll probably think i'm joking but i just wanna go with a gm hotcam. This is my dd and i'm just looking for about 350-370 RWHP. Thats all i really need and want for now. When i get a new dd though, i'm gonna turn this thing into a beast. Haha...the wife is gonna love that.

Do you have plans for headers in the future? Just seems natural if you are going through the trouble of the y-pipe you would want to do headers at the same time, then the cam so it'll be breathing better. Car sounds good, love the commentary - "There's the kid's playground" haha

I'm really at a crossroads with headers. I'm gonna get a before and after dyno for the cam. So if they are hurting my power bad, i will definitely get some. Cars got to breathe and i completely understand that, but my brother has headers on his 98 Z and they drive me nuts. But i will definitely deal with the noise from the headers for performance.

Here is a couple of videos I shot earlier this year. The first is my car with only the Loudmouth Catback. (It will most likely sound very familiar.) The second is after I installed my LT's and Catted Y-pipe. I like it. Despite all the LT/LM1 nay-sayers, it isn't terrible at all. It is loud, but it is not unbearable. If you're not all over the throttle, you can still talk to your passenger, listen to the radio at a normal volume, and not have a terrible drone driving you crazy while you cruise. Some attribute the fact that I went with cats instead of an ORY to why it isn't obnoxious. If you like your LM, and do decide you want headers, maybe you should consider doing the same. Anyways, check them out if you like and decide for yourself.

Don't believe all about the car being louder with Headers! That's all I read before doing mine and I'm glad I didn't listen to them. I also have the LM1 but I installed ARHeaders with their catted Y and there is no drone or rasp as so many say.
