Default Cut outs on dual exhaust?

Sup guys, Im considering getting some cut outs welded onto my exhaust but I have true duals. How would a single cut out sound on such a set up? I dont want to break the bank.

Where are you planning on putting a single cutout on a dual exhaust? If you were going to do it, I would think you need to put one per side. However, on a true dual exhaust, unless it is fairly restrictive, I can't see cutouts making a huge gain. What exhaust is it? Tubing size, mufflers, etc.?

im with Jon, i relaly dont see why you'd need more sound/power from the duals, considering they should be flowing pretty well. if you really want cutouts, just get 2 cheap manual ones for like $70 total.

Not worth it on a TD setup.

If you want a cutout on a setup like that, may as well just have some bullets put on the header and call it a day.

I have a Bassani dual exhaust with an Xpipe, 2.5 inch tubing I forgot the name of the muffler but it is a Bassani muffler. I guess its not worth it though considering what you guys said.

any decent true dual setup should flow plenty enough that cutouts would be a complete waste. not knowing what your setup is I cant really say, but for instance, I have 3" true duals, which is plenty if not more flow that I can use. I couldnt see even 2 1/2" duals gaining from this. Is yours duals to an X pipe then back to duals and thats the end of the exhaust? If so dont waste your time. if your lookin for more flow by a 3" true dual setup. Which again is probably overkill on most street cars. Remember there are tons of high horsepower LS1's on a single 3" exhaust system.
