Default What LS6 intake to buy?

I'm looking to buy a LS6 intake. I found one for the vette and one for the 2000 and up f body. What one do I need for my 99 z/28? I still have the egr with my headers if that matters. Thanks for any input or help!

an LS6 intake is an LS6 intake.

Unless you were wanting to keep EGR in which you would have to purchase thru SLP

If you're wanting to retain your EGR you can also use the BBK , and FAST intake.
IMO, if you don't need the egr to to pass smog where you live, don't worry about egr and just have it tuned out.

Ya, I'm keeping my egr, now that I have erg headers. I bet the slp intake will cost me.

I guess I could always delete the air and egr. I found the block off plates at ws6 store. Would need those tuned out I'm sure. The slp intake is way to much. Do the block off plates work? Or will they set the ses light?

If a ses light comes on have a tuner delete your code

I would have them deleted out. When you go to get your car inspected just get the cats really hot.

We don't have to get inspected where I live!!!
Also, I don't have cats on my car.

Then there is no reason at all to keep the egr. Just block it off. You could probably get the LS6 intake, block off plates, and get the code tuned out for all of $400.

The egr block off plates work. Just did my air/egr delete two weeks ago. I did get new gaskets with mine just to make sure. Some will say it affects fuel econ, but 3 tanks thru mine and no difference that I noticed.

block it all off and score an LS6 here, I just deleted mine with the plates and new gaskets from Speedinc...no worries. The SES will come on, mine took about 100 miles and there it was....time to visit the tuner. I'm one to talk...my H/C/I/E car is missing the I and still running the stock LS1!! The mod does clean things up nicely.
