Default MAF Trouble Code Help

my 1998 camaro z28 is pulling the DTC of p0102 which is P0102 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Low Frequency. need to know what exactly this means, and how i might go about fixing the problem. any suggestions appreciated. thanks guys!

First thing I'd check is to be sure the MAF connection is good, then see if the ENG SEN fuse is blown.

the fuse is blown and the wires are chewed by something....going to get some electrical tape and a new fuse. would this cause the car to be running fine one day and barely idling and falling on it's face under acceleration the next??

ok no now car is running better, but ive not got a flashing SES light and ALOT of white smoke coming from the exhaust.....any ideas. really getting frusterated

Flashing SES is misfire. Make sure you check everything before driving it again

If its chewed up I have a feeling a lot more was chewed up than just maf wires
