anybody regret going from catback to duals?
just wondering if anybody has regretted going from an ory and catback setup to a tru dual setup? wether its too damn loud, or interior drone, or ground clearance? also did u guys that went from a catback to duals notice a huge hp difference or ran a bit quicker? been thinking about swapping out my magnaflow for a dual setup.

i love mine, good ground clearance and NO rasp. thats what i hated about my old magnaflow/cutout setup. also, i did notice a sotp difference in acceleration, but clearly thats subjective. also, the drone and noise was quite annoying with it dumped, so i had it ran out the back, under the axle, and it sound sooo much better

I love my true duals, I love the sound, the tone. It's really unique around here. With actual mufflers, its not loud at all until you get on it. With bullets I couldn't take the drone and it was stupid loud... like no conversation in car kind of loud.

I've never really been a fan of bullets, I've always like spiral flows, powersticks, or flowmaster mufflers.

I got a carless and reckless. They hurd me take off, and said i was spinning my tires. I was right in front of a police station where 2 sheriffs were sitting in there cars. Im not that stupid to spin tires in front of a police station, and in front of 2 sheriffs. I got it reduced to a City Code.
And cops just stare at me and follow me around town.

I used to have ory/cutout/flowmaster. I loved it. Now I have 2.5 true duals ran out the back with sweet thunders. Before the cam, it's wasn't very raspy at all. Now that the cam is in, it gets pretty raspy above 2k rpms. I'm happy with my duals.

And the interrior drone is not too bad eather, you can hear the radio just fine and talk on the cell phone with no problems.
But i like the sound, i have had the same set-up for over a year and dont plan on changing it. Its all in what you want. The best thing to do is to ride in different cars with different set-ups and find out whitch one you like.

True duals here.. Started as 2.5 dumped with 30 inch glaspacks with no crossover.. Sound was sick but too loud.. Added an H pipe and car sounded slightly quieter but the drone was too much.. Ran it out the back and the sound is brutally loud at wot.. I still prefer the idle when dumped.

went back to my cat back setup here. had a 3in x with dynomax bullets and i couldn't even talk to my gf without yelling or listen to music. plus it stunk inside the car. everytime you want to dress up nice and go out, you come out smelling like a dump truck. car ran a hell of a lot harder on the duals btw lol
