Default SLP Dual/dual verses Hooker

I have been running my Hooker catback for over 4 years now. I have the Mac headers with offroad and twin Bullets in the Y pipe. I just replaced it with an SLP Dual/dual. I am very much please with the reduction in noise level. The drone or rasp is a much more acceptable level.

Don't know how much I have reduced my hp/torque but it really doesn't matter as I use my cutout at the track. Still feels very strong on the street.

The DD is a great flowing muffler considering how quiet it really is. There was a recent thread in the LS1 newbies section where a 02 Firehawk dynoed with cutout open and thru his DD he only picked up 5 rwhp with a open cutout and torque stayed the same with both. I wish I could have dynoed my setup thru my CME with the DD muffler but at that time I had the very restrictive Car Chemistry baffle in my I pipe and it lost me 33 rwhp @ 34 rwtq over an open cutout.
