Angry Lid wont stay on!

Often when i open my hood i see that the latches have failed and my lid is just flopping around under there. . Any tips to keep this thing on?

I have to play around with my MTI lid till its really hard to clamp the hold downs and then it stays.

I had the same problem so I grabbed my grinder and just took a little off the round side so that it would fit better into the smooth bellow. Problem solved!

Is the ridge on the front of the lid outside or inside the filter box. If it is outside it should be in. Mine was doing the same thing until I did that.
