WOAH! how to get to that passenger motor mount???

Default WOAH! how to get to that passenger motor mount???

mounts should be here monday, i plan on doing the poly motor mounts cause im goin to do header but i wanna get this out of the way so i can just slap the headers on an hear how it sounds instead of messin wiht the mounts. driver side looks simple. but that passenger side?? how do i get to it for one, for 2 how do i get that bolt out with the ac in the way? any tips you guys have would be GREATLY appreciated!!

take the mount loose from the engine and the k member and remove the whole thing

I also did it that way too. You cant get the whole thing out as a assembly, so I unbolted from the k member and the block and after sliding the whole assembly backwards you can remove the long bolt and take it apart from there. You also have to remove the starter too. I just unbolted it and let it hang to the middle.

make sure you disconnect the battery just incase. I crossed the wires once without discoing the battery and hey guess what it tried to start on me lol!!! Luckily nothing was damanged or hurt. Starter is easy to take out only 2 bolts. That will be the least of your worries IMO.

One more little thing...............just behind the cast motor mount on the K member is a plastic retainer that holds the O2 sensor, you will have to pull up and remove that to slide the mount back.

I hope you have small hands. I dont and it was a mother getting the bolt out and in.
