Default What lid gives the best flow?

I have a SLP lid and I saw in a post that they sucked and that a Direct Flo lid is the best. I haven't even heard of a Direct Flo lid. Are they that much better?

"Lid-101"...they are all the same performance wise, except for some design differences. The best one is truly the cheapest one, believe me.

The Direct-Flo is an ls1motorsports lid, FWIW.

Most are about 10hp better than the stock lid. About everything else is all marketing hype. Just get the best deal.

The tsp lid probablly flows the best but you really wont see the difference. Just buy the cheapest lid you can find or get one that you think looks good.

They all make the same power. Like was said above, buy for looks & price.

I have a Whisper lid that I've used on two different LS1s I've owned for the past 4.5 years. Still works/fits/looks like new.

I've seen a most of the lids out there and the tsp seems to fit the best.

Only reason I changed from SLP to TSP is for looks...I went for the bling-factor of a smoked clear lid.

Lid is a lid is a lid. All perform to close to the same to bench race about. Buy the one you like better for fit, finish, price, etc..
