Default Coil Pack Sides?

2000 LS1

Can you put the coil packs on either side of the motor?

At first I though a specific pack incluiding the stock bracket would need to be on a specific side. But they both mount up identical, and look universal to either side. They have part number stickers on them which are the same also. Seemed like firing order would obviously be something to look at, but as long as the wiring harness is plugged into the proper side, it seems like it doesnt matter.

I bought this motor in a million pieces, and just now getting around to mounting the coil packs, thats why im asking. Thanks for the help!

They mount to either side...As long as the main wiring harness is on the correct side then you'll have no problems...
