I would also disassemble the TB and remove the front half of the shaft also. At first it will seem like the shaft won't come out, but with a sharp whack from a hammer and a block of wood, it will pop right out. Once out, you can remove the front half of the shaft with a hacksaw, die grinder, or dremel then put it back in.

One thing I did, which is a good idea for the not-so-
steady-handed, is to put a few layers of masking tape
around the inside of the throat, covering the seating
circle of the blade by 1/8". Gives the Dremel (or
whatever; I used a die grinder w/ larger drums)
something else to chew on if you get a little careless,
as well as being a guide of sorts.
