Alright, I got this off ebay, the guy of coarse said it was not used for very long. When I got it I thought it looked pretty good, until I saw the back of it and saw this stuff. Is it normal to see a black ring around the back of the throttle body and along the wall of the throttle body? Can it be cleaned up with a dremel and polish pad. Any help would be appreciated guys.

that's normal... it's some kind of film i think that will flake off or easily clean up with a brillo pad... Mine had that brand new straight from the BBK factory down the street...
