Default replace magnaflow muffler with corsa?

hey everyone. i didnt feel like doing lots of research so i thought i would just ask. Could i just unbolt my magnaflow , slip out the muffler and stick a corsa muffler in there? just so i could change the sound up if i wanted to every now and then instead of buying the whole corsa catback, because my magnaflow is too quiet and i want more of a throaty sound . so is this possible or are the mufflers prob dif lengths? and if i could do this where could i just buy the corsa muffler?

I actually just swapped out my magnaflow exhaust for corsa.
The corsa muffler will match up to the magnaflow OTA pipe just fine.
The problem you will have though is the magnaflow muffler has dual
2.5" outlets & the corsa muffler has dual 3" outlets. So you would
also have to change out your outlet pipes & tips.

BTW, I like the corsa a lot better than magnaflow.

Well my car still has the stock exhaust manifolds & cat converters.
It's louder than the magnaflow, but not tons louder.
It has more of an aggressive tone though. It just sounds meaner.
Magnaflow is smooth & mellow. Corsa is more hollow & deep.
Both exhausts are quiet while cruising.
I don't think I could ever bring myself to pay for a new corsa exhaust.
But I love the sound.

I bought the full exhaust used off of here for $325 shipped!
It had clone tips though. Keep your eyes open in the
parts for sale section. They come up from time to time
usually in the $400 - $600 range.
I don't have any sound clips, but if I ever get any I'll
let you know.

just put a cutout on your ipipe if magnaflow is too quiet. im still considering doing this for when i feel like my exhaust needs to be louder.

is the wiring for a cutout pretty simple? i was really considering getting a cutout soon since i prob wont get getting longtubes till about june. and which should i get , i heard DMH's is the best ,but comes with flowtech cutout pipe which isnt stainless so buy just buy their butterfly motor then buy a stainless pipe or just go with the qtp cutout?

Well I doubt that it makes any more power than the magnaflow.
They both flow really well. It just comes down to which sound
you like best.

I don't think that corsa sales just the muffler. You have to either
find it used or buy the complete catback.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

i was going to just buy a manual cut out (just the pipe with a cover) and if i dont ever put the cap on after i install it i wont even bother with an e cutout since it will always be open
