Default 317 Milling spec

having my heads done by a local machine shop, i want to take my chambers from 70cc to 65cc, anyone have an idea of how much needs to be taken off for that? and will the intake still mate up like it should?

as long as u dont go more than .030.
going more than .030 may cause intake to heads aligment issues. and then intake will need to be machined also for correct fit

where are you getting the heads done at? pm me if it's top secret . i've read on here that 1cc is roughly .004 off the deck

car is good man. how's your build going? i'm in the process of doing a similar h/c on a fresh lq9. wanna give any details on your build?

Its a rule of thumb kinda figure. If ya mill the cylinder .024" the chamber will be 4-5cc smaller than before

Arent 317s 72cc stock?????And if so you would have to mill them 2 much to get a 65cc.I donno im just curious?
