Default Brand new erl performance 102mm throttle body

ERL Performance introduces the World’s First LSX 102mm Electronic Throttle Body using GM’s Electronics. This Throttle Body allows enthusiasts to install 92 or 102mm intakes without having to use mechanical throttle bodies. Furthermore, there is no need to adapt aftermarket electronics to GM ECU’s. This throttle body uses Factory GM electronics coupled with ERL’s legendary machining. The result is a great looking 102mm Throttle Body that will perform flawlessly with all LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS7 powered vehicles. It is simple plug and play.

Nothing like a 4" TB to feed a set of 4" pistons!

Sorry I didn't respond yesterday. We were traveling down to Memphis for the LSX Shootout. We will have the ERL 102 mm throttle body with us at the show. Please come by our booth and check it out.

That's very nice... I love plug-n-play. Give us the price and it better be reasonable.

Thanks guys. We came up with this due to the need for less restriction on the bigger displacement engines we're doing that are going into late model vehicles. There are larger intakes available, but not a direct plug in throttle body. We tested just boring and porting the factory castings to the limit, but produced very small CFM gains so we manufactured a new billet 102 body. Since the factory electronics and mechanism is retained it is truly a plug in replacement.
The big advantage to an electronic throttle body is to allow retaining the factory Drive by wire and tuneability on the newer cars and not having to convert to a mechanical set-up or run a small Throttle body on a larger intake.
I can get you a price after the LSX shootout in Memphis. Most have already headed there.

It might be my monitor, but it looks like they extended the factory shaft. Maybe that why the screws are offset?

Nice piece.

it seems that the inquiries about cost have been ignored... This generally indicates an extremely over-priced part.. I hope that I am wrong...

I thin it's priced right. We've put a price tag on them of 649.00. We are working to have these on the shelf. We made several to take to the LSX Shootout and we pretty much sold all of them so we are in the process of completing our next run. You can email me or PM me if you are interested in one. Kumar, sorry we didn't have these when you bought the 500 ci.

No. It's just like f-body vs. corvette. For the corvettes, they have had the electronic drive by wire since 97, and for a while, they had to switch over to a mechanical throttle body in order to run a larger throttle body. I'm not sure anyone has taken an f-body and converted it to a drive by wire system yet. I'm sure someone, somewhere has, but I haven't seen or heard about it.
