That's a good idea about compiling my tutorials in a thread. I wish I would have done one when I did my headers but I didn't know what the hell I was doing and it was a nightmare anyway.

I went back to my vid and my wife and I have been laughing at that too! "I'm gonna do the exact opposite" haha, I keep playing it over and over and cracking up.

Yeah, Put the wife to work holding the camera.

Nice vid. Thanx for taking the time to help others out. I will be doing my swap next week. Glad I watched the video. Very Helpful.

I'm not quite sure which parts you mean, if you can tell me what time in the video you see those things at I can tell you.

it's when you had the intake out and on the floor transfer over the module, vac line and the little skinny line with the L shape end. the L shape end off the line it was already off and i don't know where it connects to. this is in the first vid towards the very end

Hmm, I remember having to plug off a line because it went to the air sytem that I deleted. That might be it. Can anyone else chime in on this?

What line is that? I deleted my air when I put on my LS6 intake. Didn't plug any lines. Do you hook up the small vac line on the back of the intake?

Posting this here for anyone with a similar question regarding the AIR system.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...questions.html - 4&5 can be removed, 2 needs to be capped/plugged.

P.S. If this all gets sticky'ed throw me a shout-out lol

That's not good. Basically the intake wouldn't seal to the heads and would essentially be sucking in air from all over the place. Surprised that his car even runs.

I didn't, but if I had to install it again I'd put a tiny little dab on each bolt just to be ****.
