Hey guys, my buddy just got a 99 vette and we were looking at the intake and cannot seem to find the egr! Do the vettes and the camaros have different locations for the egr on the intake? He wanted a ls6 intake but need to know if he already has one.

if u can get a pic of it i can let u know but as far as i know the 2000 vettes eliminated the egr valve. let me go get my emissions book downstaris and ill look it up

what ^ said. and no he doesnt have an ls6 intake yet, unless he bought the car used in which then that migh be a possibility.

I don't think any C5 Vette's had an EGR provision on the intake. The only way you're gonna be able to tell the LS6 intake from the stock one is a part number, or look at the bottom of the intake when it's off the car for the flat bottom. The revised intakes have a flat bottom and the LS1 intakes have a raised bottom.

C5's didnt come with EGR.
