Default lt1 to ls1 swap

other than the harness, computer, motor, trans. what else would i need to swap an 01 ls1 to my 97 lt1 trans am. i am most concerned about the harness, is the ls1 harness plug and play into the 97 trans am or is there modification needed? if modification is needed..where, what and how?

You will have to modify you lt1 harness in order to get all you guages working. If you want to run a return style fuel system then you will need to find some early style ls1 fuel rails. All fbody's are returnless systems. You will also need an ls1 k-member or conversion mounts. I have some conversion mounts i will sell you if you decide to go that route.

Post this in the hybrid section and you will get more answers.
