Default Pvc tube pinched?

I put in new plugs and wires today. I started the car to make sure everything was ok. I noticed that the tube going from the pcv valve to the intake is pinched. looks almlost pinched shut. It looks like no air could pass through. Is this normal?

If you are talking about the 45 degree elbow, then it probably has a hole on the bottom side. You can fix it with some hose. The oem piece is sold as an assembly and runs about $120.

I'll get some new hose and worm clamps. It looks like it has a hole where the metal piece goes into it. Will this cause any issues with the car?

You have a pic? What about the metal thing that goes into the tube? Do you really need that? Looks like a ground or a piece that heats the tube. Not sure.

Yup, any hole in the pcv system can magnify problems liking bucking and surging.
