Default B&B Triflow

I have had this system on my '98 T/A. At idle it is very deep and mellow sounding, while slightly louder than stock. At wide open throttle it screams. It flows very well,I would say within the top five catbacks. A very high quality catback, fits very well. I have the twin tips. By the way this catback is for sale. Its is in excellent condition ( 3 years old). E mail me for pics. and price. You will not be disappointed with the price.

i have it and on the dyno my 01 ws.6 only gained 2hp over my stock catback.at the track i gained NOTHING. it is a quality catback, well made, has a nice mellow sound and the tips do look nice but hp wise it stinks.gm tec-performance tested it on a 01 ws6 ans also gained only 2or3 hp.i would not buy it again if i could go back in time, the saved money could be spent on real performance.if you can get a used one then maybe i would. REMEMBER-it's just my thoughts on this product,it's not the law.goodluck to ya man.

Yeah, looks like a pretty piece, but most splitcase mufflers have crap for flow. It seems like the muffler designs like magnaflow and slp2OTL flow very well, with exits on the same side instead of across from each other. Oh well, the B&B on ebay looked pretty nice, but I'm looking for max flow within tolerable noise levels. Guess the SLP2OTL is still on my Xmas list.

Sure, I'll get ya one... if you get me a 12bolt or 9inch rear end. I'd say that's even..

I don't know if it's pertinent to this discussion, but I had a B&B system on my '97 LT1 Z28. The quality and appearance was excellent. The sound quality was very nice...a deep rumble at idle, nice sound at WOT. However, I would definitely classify this exhaust as Mellow on the loudness scale...very similar to stock.

Yeah, I've had enough loudness already. Need to dial back in some comfort.

Then this is a great choice. I'm 46 and have had enough of driving a loud azz car around daily. I can carry on a conversation in the car with the top up or down. It is a little louder than stock at idle. At WOT she sounds off but is not obnoxious.
