PLEASE help me find a stock GM trans mount!!!!
I have a '99 TA A4. The dealer wants $100 and no local auto parts store carries one for my car. Where can I find one? I want the stock rubber piece, no poly/es mount
Will this fit? http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...-000mt2000.htm

Go to autozone with THIS part number: A2818. Just the number itself works too. It's an lt1 trans mount, but it DOES fit ls1 cars. I have one on my car and it works fine.

the aftermarket tranny mounts for our cars are the same for auto and manual so i would think the stock one would be too. A2817 from autozone says it's for automatics though. Odd. A2811 is also listed for LT1 cars. Maybe that is the manual version. EM-2394 is listed also and it does say for manual transmissions, but it costs more

IMO,
Nothings wrong with using the ES poly mount, just grind the 2 preload bumps down flat with the rest of the ES mount, and bolt it up with or without the preload plate(I use it). You'll have very little if any added vibration over a stock mount that way. The first one I put on in 2001 and I just replaced it today because it was starting to come apart. I replaced it with another ES poly mount modified the same way and I still have very little if any added vibration.
