Default loosing oil pressure

ok this has happened twice now....after i run the 1/4 at my local track i have to get on the brakes pretty hard and it loses oil pressure...the last motor lost oil pressure and it needs bearings now... so i found another motor and replaced it and last night this motor did the same thing is there anyway to add some baffling in the stock pan to keep oil around the pickup or should i buy an aftermarket pan? thanks

Is this in your 79 Camaro? If so, what oil pan are you using?

Oil pan already has baffles. Maybe you can run an extra quart of oil.

I would put a oil accumulator on it if I were you. They work great in those situations. You can pick up a moroso from summit for 190. It holds an extra three quarts for when oil pressure drops below normal and will fill back up once pressure is normal again. Well worth the money to me.
