Default Broken ground post on starter. Replace or fix?

99 LS1. The bolt/stud that holds the starter positive cable on the starter broke off. Is there any way to just replace that top solenoid, or do you have to get a whole new starter?

Also, auto and manual starters are the same, correct?

Is there a way to fix this starter? Or do I need to buy a new one?

"Ground post"?? You mean the stud that has the pos cable on it?
I'd take the starter to a alt/starter shop, and and what they can do for you.
If the internals are in good shape, I'd reuse it.

Hahaha yeah thats the one. This is my first LSX motor, and I haven't gone thru the harness yet too much....or else I would have noticed it's the pos. terminal.
