SLP Loudmouths or SLP Powerflo's on LS1 Camaro.
Which would have a beefier/deeper tone to it? The Loudmouths or the Powerflo? I want whatever is going to be louder. I want the corvette sound. Which would you prefer on an Ls1 Camaro?

You ain't going to get that sound buddy. But the LM is louder but if your going to put LT on the car then it's going to get really raspy and have alot of drone to it. On a completely stock setup I'd say the LM but after alot more more mods then you may wish you would have went with a Power-Flo.
Stock= Loudmouth
More mods.= Power-Flo
Stock= Loudmouth
More mods.= Power-Flo

My brother has the LM but his is an LS1 Z28 with the SLP Lid and thats it. It sounds good, but it's not loud until WOT to me. I want something that is gonna scream. I'm even thinking about getting electric cutouts, would you reccommend them?

I was running lm2 for a while and got a lot of thumbs up. After I installed the long tubes, different story. Tons of rasp and as one member once said "sounded like a old pick up truck". After the power flo conversion, I was satisfied with the tone again, until I scraped a hole in my driver side catt and replaced with straight pipe. Now, I'm thinking of upgrading to borla mouth.

Detoxx has the powerflo with LT's and a cam, sounds really good. I hate rasp so I vote powerflo.

The fact that I live in Cali, I wouldn't consider it. I'm trying to keep a low profile Sound wise, I enjoyed the catted tone better. The fact I'm 1/2 ory, can't voucher for tone of ory setup.

What part of cali? I'm soon to be in Oceanside. I want electric cutouts bad. Can you make custom cutouts? Like wherever you want and with whatever size piping? I'm kinda new to the exhaust setups. Never been into them much

Loudmouth will be much louder
You won't get the corvette sound unless you duplicate it's exhaust so you'd have to do custom true duals and place the mufflers immediately before the rear bumper. If you move them up under the car anymore, you'll get a deeper sound than the vettes.
I had 3" duals with cats exiting all the way out the back and they were definitely louder than my new 3" ORY setup but it was getting to be too loud for me and hung too low. I want to lower the car so they weren't gonna work.
I put on a polished stainless version of the TSP Rumbler(similar to LM2) but it was too raspy, so I swapped to GMMG and I like it much more. It's not as raspy as the rumbler but it's still loud for sure. It's definitely my favorite catback.

I have a 01' SS and 97' WS6. On the SS i have a magnaflow, I havent put anything on the LT1, im debating between Magnaflow or Flowmaster. I am not really sure how the magnaflow would sound on that car, any suggestions?
