Default hooker y-pipe?

I purchased some hooker long tubes and the hooker y-pipe that bolts right up to them. I have the stock y-pipe now with a slp muffler, I was just wandering if I am going to have to modify the pipe in any way to make it connect right with the muffler or should it bolt right up? I dont have much experience with exhaust and I am really looking for some helpful tips.----Thanks

It does bolt right up. If you dont replace the entire exhaust at one time, you are going to need the flame wrench to get the pipe to sit perfectly. When I did mine, I was on my back with some exhaust components still hanging. Made it harder, but nothing can escape the power of the flame wrench.

BTW, a common sense note is build the exhaust from the engine back.
