Default Best way to clean my intake?

Well just changed out my lifters and cam and since I'm here I might as well clean freshen everything up. Gonna repaint my LS6 intake but got a lot of dirt and oil spray over it. Was thinking of some degreaser and maybe even a pressure wash. Any tips??

thanks

I used a can of brake clean, then hose it out with water, let it dry or use an air gun. After that just use a little light to peak in all the runners to make sure all the gunk or dirt is out.

Spray it down good with some SimpleGreen and let it sit for 10 minutes then hose it off really good, and then blow it out.

You can use just about anything on them. A little soap and water and some elbow grease works well also.

Soaking in Simple Green, then hosing out works. Also about 2 cans of good quality brake cleaner works also. Just make sure you remove the MAP sensor before doing this.

I've made this standard procedure when doing head swaps these days. As these engines/cars get older, the intakes get caked with oil inside.
