Default P&P Throttle Body-Real Flow numbers/Max power?

Like the title says, anyone have actual flow numbers for a stock 75mm TB and a P&P one? When is the P&P no longer good enough?

I want to apologize because I haven't found these answers in a search, but I have to know that they must have been asked somewhere. So my apologies in advance if I missed.

So far this is what I have found:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...er-inside.html

This is the closest I've found which claims a ported TB flows:
@28"
Stock 885cfm
Ported 945cfm

Someone else claims the P&P is good for sub 425rwhp cars in that thread.

___
It looks like Accufab says 798cfm stock and 922cfm for their TB.

__

So weigh in, did someone actually flow one of these? What is the magic number when P&P is no longer enough?

A ported stock casting is good for any car (98-02 Fbody). There's lips, bumps, stops, ridges, etc that can all be removed and smoothed out. It's not going to be some monstrous difference in power, but considering how cheap TB's are being ported these days it's worth it.

Yeah, that is what I seem to keep seeing. I should have clarified, this will be going on a gen1 SBC manifold which uses an LS1 throttle body.

So I understand it is better than stock, I'm just trying to get the facts as I'd rather run a P&P but it isn't worth the money if it doesn't flow enough/support ___ hp.
