Default stock muffler or flowmaster 80 series

Ok, I HATE driving my car on long trips. The droan absolutely kills me! So, since I have a cutout behind my slp lmII, I will be putting either my stock muffler or a flowmaster back on the car. So, what would yall suggest for the best sound? My mods are listed below...

I would see if you can find a better flowing muffler to put in the car. The stock muffler will definitely quiet the car down and it flows as good if not better than the Flowmaster. You will probably still have some drone with the Flowmaster. If it were me, I would try to sell the LMII if you don't like it and look at a Hooker CB or possibly a Magnaflow. I think you would be happier with either one.

the hooker cb looks like a good deal is it comparable with some of the more expensive exhaust like corsa and borla as far as power and sound go?

I believe it is. I've seen some threads with CFM comparisons and the hooker flows pretty well. I think the Magnaflow is a little better, but the difference isn't big and both will be better than the flowmaster.

+1 on this. Would have been easier than putting the flowmaster back on and flows pretty good. Might consider this.
