NO!

Keep in mind, I don't generally like the way LS1's sound (as compared to LT1's), but this is one of the few systems that actually makes it sound good & tough IMHO.

I was one of the first to get this exhaust well over two years ago on my old LS1 and quickly re-installed it on my newest LS1 if that tells ya anything.

Only YOU can decide if it is worth it for your car...

I would never buy another cat-back ever it is the best sounding in my opinion and if you stick long-tubes on it with cats the sound is amazing

From the sounds I have heard on there web site the GMMG sounds so awsome. That is the exhaust I am saving for.

For me (old guy) the sound was too loud after LT install but I put a borla in the I pipe and the sound is great. Don't get me wrong, the sound was great before but it roared to life in the morning (I leave for the office at 05:30) and with the top down it was too much for me.

The sound and oval tips are 2nd to none. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

For conversation, and because I'm too lazy to look, how much does GMMG cost?

If you buy it new, it's like $700-$800, but I got lucky and got mine for $500.. Woohoo! I used to have the Corsa, but that was the worst exhaust I've ever had.. Sure, it sounded good- until I blew the muffler. That happened twice before I bought this! The GMMG is phenomenal and I don't have to worry about blowing a muffler, since it's chambered!

I have Hooker LT's with ORP and a GMMG exhaust and I'm always getting compliments from other people about the way it sounds. I would definately go with the oval tips if I did it again.

Unless you find one used, it's only available from GMMG direct.

not-a-sponsor.com

As far as sound w/o cats...I've heard it's raspy, but I can't tell you from personal experience since I haven't removed my cats...yet.

Wouldn't it be against the law if you removed the cats?

Hmmmm...well, I suppose your right! It's okay, though, I've already been labled as a hipocrite in another thread on this site, so I might as well continue to abuse my authority!
