Default AC compressor

Here is my question:

Can you use a standard AC compressor from a typical motor to supply an air supply to tanks?

Let me know if you have done this before. Thanks!!!

No you can not.

Compressor needs lubrication which it gets from recirculating oil in the refrigerant.
