i do know there are starters that take 2 long bolts, and one that takes one long, one short(shorter) bolt.
i bought an f body starter and have it on my 6.0 block and 6.0 flywheel.
it was advertised as f body anyway.

I have a 6.0l with a starter i got from autozone that fits a 06 2500 6.0. Also when i first got the motor installed all i had left was getting the starter on so i used my stock ls1 starter and it worked fine. They are all more or less same design just different length bolts.
