Exclamation New PArts installed, NOW PROBLEMS

Before the install I had a cam only 99 ss ran perfect. I decided to put heads, fast 90/ and a 90mm TB with 42lbs Injectors on at the same time. Now, i have hp tuners and have a tune that i thought would have been close to the setup i have. I uploaded it. and tryed to start the car, It started and idled for about 1-2 secs at 2500rpm then imeadiatly spiked to about 5500 and i shut it off. I also have had it just shut off on me right after it started ran for about 2 secs. Im not sure if this is mechanical or the tune, I tried my old tune to see if it would run and it does the same thing. Any ideas???

Any vacuum leaks or unmetered air getting into the tb/manifold? May be a good place to start since you said it was idling at 2500 and jumped to 5000. That would also account for why it did it with both tunes instead of just the new one. If I can think of anything else I'll put it in here.

Did you change the bolts on your valley pan?

That's why it cracked... the stock valley pan bolts are too high for the FAST 90 to mount correctly after being fully torqued. I'm surprised you didn't hear it crack as you were tightening the intake bolts. Did you inspect the intake before you put it on? I don't know for sure, but I believe a new intake is shipped with the new valley pan bolts, so I'm guessing you purchased the intake used? Hopefully someone didn't sell you junk. You might be able to epoxy it back together, but I wouldn't know. Ask around and see what people think. Good luck... sorry about the bad luck.
