exhaust quieter after cold air install?

Default exhaust quieter after cold air install?
does that make sense to anyone? I installed the SLP cold air induction kit and exhaust seems quieter, not only to me but others who hear it from the outside often. Even if i installed it incorrectly (maybe something isn't sealed right) i would think it'd be louder due to sucking in unnecessary air.

Weird, mine never did when I installed mine. Could be a PCM prob since its recognizing more air and its adjusting for timing. Just my two cents.

Your Induction noise is slightly louder, which is distracting your attention from the exhaust (for now). Its like an illusion. And yes, I'm serious
