Matt, you are gay...

Now that we got that out of the way...

why take it to the stealership at all?? go to Advance auto and scan it yourself, Jordan has a scanner as well... I've never heard of a "secondary" IAT, the one that goes in the lid is the only one there is as far as I know.

Haynes manuals are **** too... get a Chilton's

a more accurate descriotion of said sensor will be better to help you diagnose the problem... like I said, I only know of one IAT, maybe TPS? or MAP sensor?

If they charged a diagnostic fee it should be written down on the invoice, maybe the MIL code too. If not I'd wait for the MIL to come on again and get the code read free. Could be IAT, IAC, ....

I'm sure you mean Secondary Air Injection. If it was a P041x code then the air pump is the problem. Just get rid of it and have the codes turned off.

IAT = Intake Air Temperature
IAC = Idle Air Control. The IAC is a valve with hundreds of steps, this controls how much air enters the engine when in idle, also moves when driving, but mainly used to control Idle RPM.
