Magnaflow or Loudmouth 1 or 2

Magnaflow or Loudmouth 1 or 2
So I have a 99 trans am that has a flowmaster in place of the factory muffler. I am wanting to do a catback and have narrowed it down to the magnaflow or loudmouth 1 or 2. I don't intend to do headers or ory any time soon and when that time comes (probably a few years from now) I'll probably install duals any how. And yes, I know about the gmmg cause I had one on my LT1 car and I'm just not wanting to spend 900 bucks on exhaust alone. I haven't heard a magnaflow on an ls1 car in person but have found some sound clips that sound nice. I searched and ended up pretty much empty handed on clips for the loudmouth 2. I have a friend with a LM1 with factory manifolds and cats and it sounds pretty good but I'm thinking it might be uncomfortably loud for DD use. The magnaflow kit with the dual tips (which is a must) is $680 and for $650 I can get a slp performance pack that has the lm, and cai kit. So, any suggestions or ideas on what you would do are welcome and much appreciated. Sound clips are great too. Thanks guys.

Have you been to the LS1sounds website? Lots of options on there.
I have the magnaflow and get alot of compliments on it. I think it's smoother and quieter than either of the loudmouths.

LM1 sounds great with stock manifolds/Y-pipe. I loved mine on the stock manifolds but it get really unrefined with LT's so I put a Dynomax bullet in place of the resonator. The dynomouth link in my sig should provide you some useful information.

i've had a LoudMouth on my car & also a Magnaflow. on stock manifolds & Y pipe, the loudmouth is awesome. however when i put LT, ORY & a Magic Stick 4 in the car it got almost ridiculous. after a couple months i changed to a quad tip Magnaflow & now its too quiet. a friend had the Magnaflow on his Camaro & with the stock manifolds & Y, it was barely any louder than stock.

^ loud...yes....over bearing, no. I am just looking for something that will sound great with the stock manifolds and cats that won't give me a headach. From everything I have read about the magnaflow is that its quite and bad fitment. And everything on the LM is that its too loud. I don't think my buddys car is too loud but hey, to eeach their own. Just trying to make a decision I won't regret. That and the wife likes the $ on the slp more...

I loved my LM1 with stock manifolds and cats. I never heard it with LTs b/c I switched to a magnaflow at the same time. Never heard LM2 in person, but you could look into TSP's version with a dynomax bullet (rumbler maybe, not sure)

^ Because for the price if the magnaflow kit with the quad tips (which I do like more I guess) I could get the slp performance pack that has the cai, lid, filter, bellows, and lm1 for like $40 less. If I get the magnaflow that's all I could afford. Unless a sponsor has a big sale here in the next 2 weeks or so.

Have you thought of maybe the SLP PowerFlo exhaust? It's a Loudmouth 2 catback, with added mufflers in the tailpipes, to help quiet it down, and give it a little better tone, than just being godawfull loud. I thought about going that route, but just ended up convincing myself to go with custom TD's, like I probably always will. lol. Only problem is, you're looking at basically the same price as the Magnaflow, and no SLP performance pack with it. WS6store has the PowerFlo on sale for $617.35 right now.
