Default Header & exhaust

What is the best primary size for a mild 6.0 that is mostly street driven??? I should be making around 420 chp at 5500 rpm. The only collector option I have will be 2 1/2".

Is ceramic coating worth much HP/TRQ in an application like this???

Is the LS motor really that much different than a traditional SBC...because I was being told to go 1 5/8" primary??? Would my ET be better with them...I do have a 3200 stall??? The catch here is, and because of my conversion, these are not long tubes.

I put a set of 1 7/8 " Headers on my LS6 motor (about 100miles ago

alot of people run 1 3/4 " still and they flow fine for a slightly modded motor

I'm going to be doing future mods to my car is why I went with SS 1 7/8" Headers

Buy only a set of good quality headers (kooks , LG motorsports, American Racing etc and only buy longtubes

Bon

I really want long tubes but no one makes them for my application and it takes some major cash to have some (correctly) custom built. I guess I am trying to make sure I got the primary size correct because I don't have any good options for length.

Just go with 1 3/4"....plenty of flow for the engine you described.

1 3/4 would be perfect for that you need..1 5/8 will choke the Engine a little bit..these things can flow..
