Fast 90/90 Setup on mild H/C setup?
I want your guy's opinions.....
I have a mild H/C setup:
-Thunder Racing "CheaTR" - 214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA
-Patriot Performance 5.3 Stage 2 heads, bigger valves and shaved .010 to achieve 11:1 compression
It has ran the time in my Sig on spray with a slipping converter (which will be addressed next season) through a LS6 Intake manifold and ported stock TB.
I have a Fast 90/90 setup sitting in my garage...do you guys think my setup is too mild for the Fast 90/90? Would it even be worth it to swap it out? It would be great if someone has a similar setup to compare.
Thanks for the input.

YES very much worth your time .you can sell your ls6 intake combo ,which should cover your dyno tune to max out the 90/90mm combo .what injectors are you using now?might need to step up with injectors to match the the 90/90 mm up grade.

What exhaust do you have? The cheater has the big split between intake and exhaust duration so it will work well with the stock exhaust. If you're running the stock exhaust I'm not sure a better flowing intake is going to help too much.
Might as well put it on since you have it. If you post up a before & after dyno graph that would be interesting.

Garygnu: I agree...I have Zo6 (28.8lbers) right now. I think I will need more fuel.
Massls1guy: I have TSP true duals/Hooker LT's...honestly the only reason the cam is in there is because the heads limit my choices.
Still in the air of to what I will do with it. There is only one dyno in the whole state of AK...which is 400 miles away from me LOL. So most likely I would be stuck tuning on the go with my EFI live.

yes. do it. there is no question about it. you already have the damn thing bought.
now if you hadn't bought it yet then i might say other wise. the hardest part about a FAST intake is parting with the thousand or so dollars it takes to buy one(new). once u get past that its a no brainer lol.

The Alchemist had an interesting post over here, #72:

Basically seeing if your current intake sees any vacuum at WOT. Then if you upgrade to the fast you can measure it again and compare. I still want to do it on my car just for the fun of it.

So....the verdict is install it LOL. And I ended up with the setup as more of a trade and didn't buy it brand new hence why I was kind of hesitant on the setup.
Thanks for all the help guys. Its appreciated.
