Question CAT help

ok i finally got my trans am home and the check engine light is on...dad took it to orielys or auto zone whatever i wasnt there n they put it on a computer and they said the right cat was clogged up...its got 158000K miles on it runs like a champ no doubt but i just wanna know whats the way to go on this 1 and how much

sounds like its time for headers and ory if you dont have them already.

What year is your car cause I have 2 cats for sale drivers and passenger side. They are off my 98 and have low mileage on them.

putting the hearders and ory on will clear it up pretty quick. theres really no sense in replacing the bad cat if your just gonna end up taking them off for headers. you're only option for fixing it would be replacing the bad cat. I do find it odd that its running as well as you say with a "clogged" cat. it should be down on power/tq. id imagine...

yeah it runs fine...thats what the computer said though i didnt go my dad went so he probably heard something else but im gunna replace it now cuz i i need to get it inspected and all that bull..
