Default Ram air Through Fog light holes

So im building a 6.0 setup and wanting to get more airflow. i am goin to run the vic jr with elbow and wonderd if anyone has done a ram air through the fog light holes. I was thinking of 2 pipes into a Y then into the intake. Has it been done and any difference.

Thanks
Jeremy

if this is on a camaro, theres alot in the way to try and do that, would take some bends...which will hurt airflow.

i think i'd figure out a way to use a stock lid setup and to one of the aftermarket ram airs like the SSRA (my choice) or FTRA

not so sure how the fogs are on the firebird

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...r-install.html You could pretty easily adapt this setup to your foglight holes.......

i did ram air on my camaro similar to how this guy did it just i have screens to block big debris, i did it that way instead of the traditional ram air cause i think it will allow a lot more air to get to my radiator and keep my car from overheating in the summer

i have the SSRA on my setup, and i have no problem keeping the car nice and cool even in south florida heat.

there is quite a bit of room between the scoop and the radiator

i have gained 2.7mph with my ram air over stock...

they like to breathe from the bottom...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...sults-tom.html

speed inc (sponsor) can hook you up with one...it looks nice installed

http://www.speedinc.com/cont.cfm?cid=C0000984

there is only slight modifying to the hood latch to get this to fit...so you dont have to cut up your bumper support or radiator support...

good luck man...

Yup, I did mine like that with my turbo setup and got lots of good feedback on it. Of course I had to remove my whole front bumper support assembly for the piping to clear. I picked up a set of cheap Spectre intakes from Autozone with the front intake style and they worked perfectly. Had to cut the holes a bit for them to fit though. Here is a pic of how it looked on mine:

For your setup, I wpuld probably suggest using the "accordion dry vent" style tubes to lead down to the intakes. They did this a lot back in the day on certain muscle cars, namely the badass Ford Thunderbolts:

I think this will be your cheapest and most effecient route and these will be easier to snake around things to get where you want them. You may even be able to keep your bupmer support with these and just get away with modifying it a bit. In my setup, the pipes were stiff so they held the filters in place, but you will probably just have to rig up a set of brackets for them, but it shouldn't be a big deal either way. Hope this helps.
